In the upper border is written in the form of a doha (couplet):
Ram and his valiant companions are accoutred for the battle.
As the arrows are fired, bodies of the slain seem to fall in heaps.
Identified by text in the picture are Rama and Lakshama are firing arrows, next to them Hanuman wrestes with a greenish demon. Angad is pulling a demon by its leg. . The bears towards the top constitute the allied army of the bear-king Jaambavanta.
