Three illustrations concerning the mythology of Krishna:
Rasalila: Krishna dances with all the gopis (milkmaids) giving the illusion he dances with each alone;
Balarama: the cowherd-boy Krishna's brother and constant companion with bullock drawn plough;
Govardhana: Krishna raises the mountain to save its inhabitants from Indra's deluge.
